Photography - Yes or No?

Okay, so I take Photography class at my school, and i was recently entered into a Scholastic Competition that's nationwide, and would look amazing on my college applications, if I happened to win. So my teacher called me up to show me the pictures she entered in the competition, and I was in a sort of shocked state after she showed me. Not in a horrible/scary way and not in a spectacular/ oh my gosh way either, just shocked. I didn't think the pictures that she chose were even good really at all. So that's why I'm confronting you guys with this. What do you think? Are they worth it? Even in the slightest bit? I'd love some neutral feedback.

The pipe one I thought was okay, but i definitely didn't think the feet one was that good. We'll see I guess. Here's one photo that I thought was really cool that I took. I thought for sure it'd be picked, but I guess it didn't demonstrate the strategies well. Any who, I thought it was pretty cool.

I'm Mikala, and I would like to welcome you to the average day of a teenage girl.
These "first blog posts" also known as the "welcome" posts are probably the most
